Snuff Box (15) ***
TWO Mighty Boosh alumni team up for what boils down to a skit show loosely linked by the constantly bickering pair working as hangmen.
Makes sense... I guess. And that's the whole point of Snuff Box really. It's an excuse to whip off a few twisted ideas, some for comedy value and others for pure League of Gentlemen-style sinister fascination.
When it's good, it's genius. Witness the fashion statement caused by relieving oneself in one's trousers, and the bizarre guitar lessons by a mutant-fingered musician. However, rapper with a baby is awful and swearing businessman is silly.
But Snuff Box has a dark vibe that, once experienced, takes a strange but addictive hold.
