Fido (15) Entertainment in Video ***

WUH-OH, it's the '50s and clouds of space dust have turned the dead into walking undead - what to do? Don't panic, good citizen, ZomCom have the answer: electronic collars that turn those flesh-gobbling desires into an urge to carry out day-to-day tasks for Mr and Mrs Busy.

But little Timmy's not sure about owning a zombie, and his father less so after an unfortunate paternal incident. Luckily socially aware mum has gone ahead and bought one just the same, and now Timmy and Fido (Billy Connolly) are inseparable.

Fido is rather sweet but there's a bitingly satirical feature in here struggling to get out, and in the hands of a better writer we could have had something really amusing.
